What a time to be alive for Nayvadius DeMun Wilburn — better known to his legions of fans simply as Future. Not only was the Atlanta-bred hip-hop singer/songwriter touted as the “Best Rapper Alive” in a GQ article earlier this year, but the 38-year-old Grammy winner also transferred the rights to over 600 titles in his publishing catalog to investment firm Influence Media Partners in September for a deal in the “high eight figures.” He’s also set to make his mark alongside Rihanna on the upcoming “Black Panther: Wakanda Forever” soundtrack.

And things are just as good on the real estate front for Future. As reported by The Real Deal, he just paid French insurance CEO Laurent Ouazana and his wife Pascale $16.3 million for an almost-new mansion on Miami Beach’s exclusive guard-gated Allison Island, directly overlooking the waterfront. Though that’s a hefty $3.6 million discount off the original listing price, it’s still way more than the $12.5 million the Ouazanas paid for the place back in 2020, in a transaction that also included an adjacent parcel that has since been sold to developers.

Tucked away on a gated parcel spanning over a quarter-acre of land, Future’s modern digs were newly built in 2020. Towering palm trees surround the seven-bedroom, nine-bath home, which contains nearly 8,000 square feet of living space rife with high ceilings, walls of glass and seamless indoor-outdoor environs. Snazzy amenities range from an elevator and a rooftop terrace, to a detached guesthouse, staff quarters and a three-car garage.

Other highlights include a voluminous great room featuring living and dining areas, plus a sleekly designed kitchen outfitted with custom Ornare cabinetry, a lengthy eat-in island and top-tier stainless appliances. There’s also a posh upstairs master retreat that has a seating area with a wet bar and wine refrigerator, an expansive balcony and dual walk-in closets, as well as a luxe bath decked out with dual vanities, a massive glass-encased shower and freestanding soaking tub.

Outdoors, the resort-like grounds host an infinity-edge pool and raised spa flanked by an open-air cabana with a kitchen setup, along with plenty of spots ideal for al fresco lounging and entertaining. And with a dock and 75 feet of water frontage, there’s also more than enough room to moor a luxury yacht.

The listing was held by Dina Goldentayer of Douglas Elliman; Jordan Karp of Jordan Karp LLC repped the buyer.
